Footpath List
The job of looking after the public footpaths within the parish falls to the
Lengthsman who, with the help of the Parish Council's web
presence, will build upon the excellent work of Mandy Sharpe, who wrote the
booklet "The Footpaths of Aldercar and Langley Mill".
The majority of information is taken directly from the booklet and as such will be
easy to cross reference between the two.
The base reference map used is the
Ordnance
Survey Landranger series and is number 129.
Walking is enjoyable and inexpensive. Regular Parish walks are organised that you can take part in. You don't
need any special equipment, just wear suitable clothes and remember wherever you
go follow the country code!
