Parish Walks July - September 2005

Monday 18th July 2005

Meet at Great Northern p.h. 6.30 p.m. Walk along Erewash Canal to Shipley. Return to Northern. Walk approximately 3 miles. Dogs welcome on lead.  Fairly level footing.

Monday 15th August 2005

6.30 p.m.Meet at Horse & Jockey. Walk around Godkin & some Heanor footpaths approximately 3 miles. Return to Horse & Jockey. Some hill walking. Dogs welcome on lead.

Monday 5th September 2005

Meet at Great Northern 6 p.m. Route to include part of proposed extension to Cromford Canal. Approximately 3 miles. Cattle may be present on footpath 74. Dogs welcome on lead. Return back to Great Northern. Walk led by Friends of Cromford Canal Chairman Mr. Mike Kelly.
